What is SEO? It means Search Engine Optimization. It refers to creating copy that ranks high in online searches using (well researched) keyword phrases that fit organically within quality content.
Do you only write for travel and tourism businesses? While my niche is definitely in the travel and hospitality industries, I write copy for any business wanting to sell their brand, attract and engage customers, and stand out from the competition.

It’s equally important to develop a plan of attack, so to speak. Doing a social media audit, knowing your audience, creating measurable objectives, and being consistent are key steps. What are your rates? I charge flat package rates for each project. Once we’ve discussed the scope of the project during my free consultation, I provide an in-depth proposal. I charge a flat rate because it’s just easier all the way around. You’ll know exactly what to pay, and I won’t need to noodle around figuring out my hours!
What does your pricing include? Once I know the scope of your project, I’ll include a very detailed estimate. I list each task so you can see the cost of each individual item. In general, my estimate includes everything involved in writing your copy – meeting time, brand research and SEO research, writing time, edits, and proofing.
How quickly can you complete a project? It really depends on the type of project and how many other clients I’m working with at the time. Once we decide to work together, we’ll discuss deadlines. I’m a stickler for them. Rush jobs are doable (and require an upcharge of 10%).
I don’t live in the US. Can we still work together? Absolutely! Most of my clients are several states away or in another country. Email, Skype, and phone meetings are great ways to communicate. I hold general office hours in Eastern Standard Time, and observe main US holidays – and Cinco de Mayo :-).
